Project Overview
Cultural Care Kids First Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity affiliated with Cultural Care Au Pair. Its mission is to enrich the lives of children in need by partnering with and fundraising for children’s organizations around the world. In 2023, Kids First joined forces with Molo Mhlaba, a girl’s STEM school in South Africa, to raise $50,000 for the construction of a new classroom. The Cultural Care community worked together to reach this goal, including a team of 15 host parents, staff, and au pairs who ran the TCS NYC marathon in support of Kids First. In preparation for these efforts, I was asked to redesign the Kids First Logo.
The director of Kids First wanted the updated logo to better communicate the foundation’s affiliation with Cultural Care. She appreciated the playful, childlike quality of the original logo and expressed that the redesign should maintain that while aligning more closely with Cultural Care's brand identity.

Some of my early sketches and ideas that I ultimately developed into the final redesigned logo
After finalizing the new logo, I created a variety of print and digital materials to help fundraising efforts and communicate the mission and impact of Kids First to the greater Cultural Care community, including a brochure and set of Instagram post templates. In the end, Kids First was able to meet their $50,000 goal in partnership with Molo Mhlaba, and has since joined forces with 8 other organizations to raise over $400,000 for children in need.
